Rekordbox 4.1 can't see external thunderbolt drive

I have an external thunderbolt drive - an OWC ThunderBay 4 mini, with 4 hard drives in it, running as a RAID 5 array using the SoftRaid software. The drive does not appear in the Explorer section of Rekordbox at all. I can manually browse to the drive when trying to relocate lost files, but the drive itself won't show up as a location in the Explorer.

Any help fixing this would be greatly appreciated, I have moved a lot of my music collection to this drive and need to batch relocate a bunch of music to this drive

Using Mac OSX Mavericks. I can't see my internal hard drives or external hard drives at all in explorer. is this expected?

Should also mention - I'm on 10.11.4

I have the same problem with an external ssd drive in OSX 10.11.4.

When I'm using recordbox with Windows10, I will see the drive in the explorer section.

If I create a symlink pointing to the folder on the external drive (the one which Rekordbox can't "see" in Explorer) and place it on another drive, Rekordbox sees it perfectly fine.

Good idea, I will try this. Thank you.
