Xdj 1000 with rekordbox DJ.
hello there,
i bought the rekordbox DJ to use it with my xdjs 1000 and djm2000 nexus. I have the latest firmware version on the xdj 1.05. I'm not able to connect it to rekordbox DJ once I click performance. I can only use it when I click export. Can u help please since I would like to use it with rekordbox as performance option.

Is your hardware connected via USB? Unless I'm mistaken, in order to work with your setup in Performance mode it must be connected via USB, no CAT5/ProDJLink.
Ah no it's via LAN. Is there any specific USB I need to connect? And if u have any steps or instruction I can follow.

Yes. If your laptop has enough ports, than each device should ( in your case XDJs and DJM) should be connected via USB, so essentially you'll need three open USB ports.
That said, if you have a MacBook, you can safely use a powered USB HUB for the XDJ's. However, make sure the DJM is connected directly to the MacBook–do not connect it to the hub as it will be acting as your sound card and needs to be interfaced directly with the CPU to prevent any potential dropouts or audio related issues. Don't worry, the XDJ's are essetially processing small data packets so they will work just fine with the hub.
And make sure the source for each input channel on the mixer is set to USB. :-)
