recording
Hi, I am having problems trying to record with my ddi-sr, when it is plug in to my macbook all i hear is distortion and static. when I unplug it and record with out it, it is clear as day. I use Virtual Dj 8.0 I haven't had this problem before. I have deleted VDJ and reinstall and got nothing.. i have also plugged in a different ddi-sr and same problem.

Have you updated the SR firmware to the latest version? Have you tried using a different USB cable? Tried a different USB port on your MacBook? Which OS X version are you using?
@Michael > Is the DDJ-SR the only device connected to the Macbook and where are you hearing the static - in the headphones, output or recording?
