set up vinyl
I have my turntable set up by a window and the records are right below the turntable. Is this bad for my vinyl? Will this damage the goods?

Unless there is direct sunlight shining on the vinyl you should be good.
If not, it can be bad if they remain in the sun over an extended period without shade or being stored.
