rekordbox 3 doesn't save waveform information

After the update rekordbox 3 decided not to save the waveform information on some tracks (see video attached)

and for some reason some tracks became "Track not supported" all of a sudden however they were working absolutely fine in 2.2.4

And where did the "Playlists including this track" go?!?

For the second part of your question- it's answered here (with a screenshot to help) http://forums.pioneerdj.com/entries/81237166-Rekordbox-3-0-Playlists-inc-this-track-

Did the location of those tracks change since analysis? Try re-analysing them and see if it restores the waveform. It's possible they were added to a much earlier version of rekordbox.

As for the unsupported tracks, what is their type?

Artie Plotnikov

no. i can still play them both in rekordbox player.

i did try, thats why i made that video...

they were added to the current version of rekordbox as of  June 2011

rekordbox 3 says "File Type: Unknown Format"

rekordbox 2.2.4 says MP3 File

both problems seem to be resolved by re-adding the tracks. and only some of the tracks added before 30th May 2013 are affected

Which is why I'm thinking the version of rekordbox prior to June 2011 was the problem. Glad to see it was fixed with a re-import.
