Backup Rekordbox to External HD Time Machine

Hi, I just want to keep my rekordbox backed up in a external drive. I have an external HD connected to a Mac with Time Machine. Is it enough? In case my computer hardware or software can I restore Rekordbox as it was? In case negative, what is the best way to back up Rekordbox including the files (that are located in the computer's music folder)
