DDJ-FLX4/rekordbox beat FX panel only applies to channel 1

I just got a FLX4 a few weeks ago and noticed that when I change the beat FX on the device, it only changes the settings for channel 1, even if I have channel 2 set as the active fx channel. Is this intentional or a known bug? Seems very strange to only be able to change channel 1's fx from the controller.
