Is the XDJ-RX going to be compatible with Rekordbox DJ?
Is the XDJ-RX going to be compatible with Rekordbox DJ?..... if so when? Seems strange to me why this hasnt been made compatible with this new feature of rekordbox

@Declan > As has been previously posted, there is no information on compatibility with rekordbox DJ for the XDJ-RX. If and when we have any information, we will post it.
Also realize that the main function of the XDJ-RX is to be a flash drive controller and not a sw based controller. Not to say it won't but it's strength lies in using it without a laptop.
Thank u both for reply... I didn't trawl through previous posts as I was just looking a quick response as sitting in front of my PC last night and was going to purchase a subscription, glad I didn't now though!
I get what u say about the main function being a flash drive controller, but I will still be bringing my laptop to anywhere in gigging, cos I find it much easier to find tracks and drag and drop via link rather than using the built in screen and jog wheel. Personal preference I suppose, but for me doing parties where I need to cover a lot of genres and getting requests for random songs, I think I will always be using the laptop with this system
@Declan > Just so you know, you CAN use rekordbox 4 in the free mode with the XDJ-RX to continue with the features you currently use; linking to the software and exporting to USB drives to use with the RX as a stand-alone device.
Yeah mate I have it updated already on my laptop and my Mac...
