Can't connect rekordbox to xdj-rx on my macbook pro

I just bought a XDJ-RX and i want to connect it to Rekordbox DJ on my MacBook Pro 13" Retina. I've connected them with the LAN/thunderbolt cable, but nothing shows on either the Mac or the XDJ. I've already read the "rekordbox read me" instructions, but can't seem to find out why i can't connect them. I have the latest version of Rekordbox and i have chosen the 30 day free trial so far.

Hope someone can help me! :)

Firmware update

HID Setup

Yep it works best with a usb connection

Lan will just let you use the laptop as a music source

Hi all, I have downloaded new firmware,2.20 on the the xdi-rx, I have the latest update of record box and still cannot connect in performance mode. I have followed all the above steps also. Any ideas?

@Jon > Are you using Mac or PC?

Which version of rekordbox are you running?

Does the XDJ-RX show-up in the MIDI devices list? Audio devices?

Jon Whatling

Hi thank you for the response, I'm using 4.2.5. with a Mac. When I try to connect the Mac to the xdi-rx it shows are error message 8307, have tried so my times to install the audio driver only to uninstall in and try again as it does not show up in the device list. Not sure where I am going wrong.

Andrew Newmark

Pulse

@Andrew > If you're on Mac, then the problem is likely that drivers weren't properly installed.
