Pioneer CDJ 900 Nexus Cue/Play button non responsive on vinyl mode but play fine when off

I was using my pair of CDJ 900 nexus on friday night when i noticed this problem, the creeen on the middle of the platter acknowledges the use of the buttons but still doesnt play, once switched to cd mode it is fine without problems.

Has anyone experienced this before, if so is there an easy way to fix or will i need to get them serviced?
