Soundcloud search automatically presses enter when you stop typing

I've recently subscribed to Soundcloud Pro to try out the streaming feature, and so far I think it's okay! The searching could use a lot of work, though. One thing that absolutely infuriates me is the fact that when you are searching for a song in the Soundcloud search bar, if you stop typing for even just a second, it automatically presses enter for you. Sometimes I make a mistake, I pause, I take my hand off the keyboard, etc, and it searches when I didn't want it to, wasting tons of time while mixing. Is there a way to disable this??
