Auto Loop becomes cue point?

 I have recently discovered auto loops and it is a good feature for songs that don't give you much of an outro to mix from.  Using rekordbox, I set up autoloops on a few tracks but once I get these tracks into my XDJ's(MK1) the auto loop becomes the cue point and I can't cue the track from the beginning.   Am I doing somthing wrong or does this feature just not work on my XDJs?
