DDJ 1000 4 beat loop button starting track automatically

I like to load a track and hit the 4 beat loop button which I then extend to an 8 beat loop to have it ready for when I want to bring in that track. It seems that now after I load  the track and hit the 4 beat loop button the track starts to play in the loop. It never did this before. I would hit the loop and the track didn't start until I hit the play button. How do I stop this from happening? I want to load the track hit the 4 beat loop button and not have the track start playing.
