Missing Artist Info
I have triple checked my files and the artist name is there filled in. However when I go into Rekordbox the artist names are missing. Nothing else is missing just the artists name.

What is the file type, and which metadata field contains that artist name?
Hi. File type is MP3 and the metadata field is contributing Artist.
Sorry, but "Contributing Artist" is not a standard field per the ID3v2.3 tags list, that could be why.
I know. But in file explorer I have filled in all the data. For 95% of my collection that's fine. Fir some reason tracks I have pulled across from Promo Only the artist field becomes blank in Rekordbox.
I use Promo Only as well and don't have a problem with it... are you sure those are MP3s?
Definitely MP3's. When I download the Promo Only tracks all the info is there but I hate how it comes up on Rekordbox and the fact you have to wait for it to organise the tracks. So I edited the info in File Explorer, the same way I do for songs I've ripped from CD. At this point the artist info stops appearing In Rekordbox. Everything else Is there as standard. Yeah, if you edit them AFTER they're in rekordbox, they would remain there until you re-scan the tags, but if you're editing them prior to import and putting the data into a non-recognized field, that would be why rekordbox doesn't show it.
