Rekordbox and AMD processor support update?
Hi guys
I recently got a Ryzen-based PC and have just discovered on this forum that Rekordbox doesn't support AMD processors. This explains why Rekordbox keeps crashing for me!
I was wondering are there plans for Rekordbox to support AMD in the future?

Thanks for the straight up answer. Are you able to elaborate on why? I initially thought it might be down to market share but I checked the stats and AMD has half the CPU market. Doesn't this justify support?
My understanding is applications need to be compiled differently for an AMD processor and yes, a big part of why they don't do that is the market share AMD has. Sorry!
Hello All i tried and installed recordbox on my sony vaio amd laptop and its working fine completely. Just gave a try and check first your windows is already upto date. Love it working fine sometime it take more time to analysis file coz my cpu is now very old its AMD E2 , Try it first, working fine with my DDJ 400
IF it works, that's great - however, we can't guarantee it will work as expected on AMD processor based computers, so we don't recommend it or support it.
