Rekordbox stuck

Hi, I need help with Rekordbox.
So I'm using the latest version of Rekordbox (5.8.6) with a Pioneer DDJ-RB console and a 2017 MacBook Air.
A couple of days ago I noticed that about once an hour for a very short time (about 0.5 seconds) the music would stop playing and then continue. It's quite annoying at a party.
I'm thinking that it might be a problem with the laptop, maybe the console or some software problem...
Has anyone experienced anything similar?
