DDJ REV 1 right side won't switch to vinyl mode
I just got a brand new DDJ REV 1 last night and I'm having a problem already. My right jogwheel is in vinyl mode, my left is in normal mode and neither side will change. Neither Shift+3 nor Shift+4 (short or long press) does anything at all. I would prefer they were both in vinyl mode but I can't change modes at all. I'm on a macbook pro and I'm using the cable that came with the controller. Any ideas?

Are you having problems with this in Serato DJ Lite?
Yes, I had the problem in Serato DJ Lite and Serato DJ Pro. Someone on Reddit suggested that it might be related to the USB to USB C adapter so I tried four different adapters on my Mac. I also tried it on a PC (straight USB, no adapter) but unfortunately, nothing fixed the issue. So I boxed it up and took it back to Guitar Center. They swapped it for a different one and I haven't had any issues since.
