DD-1000 Wont Boot

When powering on my DDJ-1000 it won't fully power on.  The white bar on the Beat FX screen slowly fills up and then freezes.    My MacBook doesn't recognize it.   Any suggestions, or any additional information that I can provide?

Thanks,

Tom

Sorry to hear that -- I'm not sure exactly what it might be, so I'll direct you to please contact Pioneer DJ technical support in your region to have your DDJ inspected and/or serviced.

Tried multiple machines. Most recently was my MacBook Pro running High Sierra, 2.2ghz i7, 16gb RAM. Rekordbox was updated to 5.4. Tried uninstalling drivers using file in the driver package. After reboot reinstalled. Still no connectivity. DDJ-1000 driver utility is showing version 1.0 with nothing connected. I see no connections in my systems hardware window, and there is nothing showing in midi controls. It appears to me that the unit is failing to boot up
