USB C Hub Audio Issue

I tried to use a USB C hub to connect my laptop (with Rekordbox) to the CDJ2000nxs2 and while I successfully linked the devices, when I tried to select CDJ 1 & 2 audio output, the option was not there. This option always appears when I'm connected without the USB C hub which is why I think that is the problem. 

The USB C hub is "Satechi 4-Port USB-C Hub - Data Transfer Only (No Charging/Video)." If this is the wrong type of hub to use, please advise on which one to purchase.
