Problem with FX DDJ SX2
When I engage effects in Serato DJ, there is no change/manipulation in the sound. I checked my firmware and it is up to date (1.05). Do I need powered speakers for the FX to work? or is it an issue with serato or the controller? responses are greatly appreciated!

@William > Check that you have assigned a channel to that effect bank (either the 1 or 2 will be illuminated at the top of the channel strip) and be sure you're engaging the effect by pressing the button below the effect knob (if you're in 3-effect mode).
Thank you for the reply. I did what you stated above and the same result is occurring - the effects are still not working.
