Rekordbox DJ + CDJ 3000 HID MODE ISSUE

Last week at my gig, I couldn't connect to the CDJ 3000s in HID mode with RB DJ version 5.8.6. Do I need to upgrade to version 6 in order for it to work?

Yes; rekordbox 5 doesn't know what a CDJ-3000 is; rb6 is required (and unlocked) by the players.
