DDJ 1000 power cord (w/o AC adapter) replacement

Hi there, my AC adapter works fine but power cord is not connecting. I found another power cord and wondered if anyone can advise if it's going to work fine long-term?

I tried it once today and it was fine but don't want surprises during my sets.
