Crossfader Curve & Breaking control in SRT 1000

Finally got the SRT 1000.
2 Things that are problematic.

Both the crossfader curve adjustment and start/stop speed are accessed inside the Serato Settings.

Is there no fast way to change these while in a set?
Or would I have to Midi Map and lose another button on the controller?

This seems like bad design : (
