Latest Rekord Corrupted My Computer Database
RB has been performing flawlessly for months. Then I opened it up and no files or playlists. Nothing changed on my pc.
I was able to get tracklists back from my latest USB sync but it is not 100% correct. It also doesn't show any of my updated genres.
I have found many .edb files - is that the correct file for playlists and genres, however, I am not sure which is the correct one to install.
I know RB writes to a file every time it is closed, what is that file?
So this is beyond frustrating to lose many tracks, histories, and recordings.
Any advice would be appreciated?

For rekordbox 5, it's datafile.backup.edb (and numbered versions), for rekordbox 6 you want master.backup.db (again, plus numbered).
Look for the one which is older than when you noticed the issue.
I have been using the latest version of Recordbox 6.5.3....is this a common error?
Furthermore, when I try to import files this version of Rekordbox doesn't show the file you mentioned even though I can see it in Windows.
Any additional advice here?
