[SP16] How to select track without triggering?
I would like to use the touch strip effects on looping samples --but touching a pad results in the loop restarting.
Is there a way to select/enable the track for touch strip effects without immediately triggering it?
Is there a way to disable the automatic play/preview of a track's sample when a pad is selected?

Using the touchscreen allows you to select a track without triggering it. :)
Its [SHIFT] and one of the pad modes to select without triggering, or no pad mode. I can’t remember. Press [TRACK] so it lights, and try holding [SHIFT] and press a pad, or press [TRACK] again so it is NOT lit, and hold [SHIFT] and press a pad. Again, pretty sure its one of those. Or yeah, the touchscreen.
It’s [SHIFT] and a [PAD] in Track mode, or not in any mode. I hope thats more clear. I’d have made sure, but I’m not with my Sp-16 right now.
