2nd Hand Xdj-r1
Hello, Can anyone help? I've bought a 2nd Xdj-R1 set, which has come with all the accessories and the recordbox disc, Can I use this disc to set up my recordbox account? Or once it's been used once by the previous owner, will I have to subscribe to get it to operate my decks via my laptop? Any help would be appreciated.

Hey Martin,
That disc was likely for rekordbox 4, which wasn't even compatible with version 5. Now that we're at version 6, a subscription is required to use the R1 as a controller (performance mode), but you're still able to use rekordbox for free to prepare your music and export it to a USB drive to use on the R1 without your computer.
