Hi everybody,

Complete newby here. I am looking for a solution to play some recorded samples over my tracks on a XDJ RX2, but I would prefer not to do this on the controller since I want to use both channels for mixing only. Therefore I am dreaming about:

  1. 3rd channel input from something like an audio sampler.
  2. Separate EQ on this channel.
  3. Pre-Listen to the samples.

Do you have advice how to approach this? I was thinking about the Mic input because of the EQ.

And in case this would make sense, can somebody recommend a very simple sampler for the setup? Thank you all!

I get wanting the EQ section, but I would advise to try the AUX input for this as a stand alone option.

Can you explain to me please, why the Mic input is not a good option?
