Booth Monitor output sounds different than Master output

Hello,

I currently own a DJM-750 MK2 and I've noticed that the Booth Monitor output sounds vastly different than the Master output. On the Master Output you can hear the transients stick out way better, and the sound overall sounds more clinical. On the booth monitor output there is more low end but I have a harder time distinguishing kicks, snares and hats, and it is generally less easy to mix on. I would like to know:

-What are the differences between the monitor and master output?

-Is this difference also present on other Pioneer mixers?

Regards, Bart

The master output uses a higher quality DAC than the booth output, so that's a possibility as to the difference. Higher model mixers such as the 900NXS2 and V10 have better DACs for the booth outputs as well.
