Voltage Detected on the XDJ-XZ CASE
When my new unit is plugged into the wall there is a voltage present on the casing of the unit, has anyone else had the same problem? It was found by playing the unit in barefeet on a tiled floor. The charge can be felt anywhere on the upside of the case. Voltage measurements will be taken tommorrow when I get my multimeter back.
Can pioneer suggest the best way forward I've only had the unit 2weeks.
Regards

Hey Drew,
Yikes - that's not good. I would also check to ensure that this isn't a grounding issue at the outlet by testing the XZ at another location in your house.
I experienced the same when I first got my XDJ-RX, 3 years ago, I changed the power cable and it's been fine ever since. I think it was a grounding issue

I tested the controller on a few sockets in the house and found that a few of them have a grounding issue with a voltage on the earth. I tested on it on a 4th socket and it was OK. The issue does not appear to be with the controller.
Drew,
I'm glad to hear that you were able to figure that out -- please contact an electrician to get your household circuitry inspected so nobody gets hurt!
