XDJ-XZ's double shifting really work?
Hey all,
So I just recently got my XZ and I had heard and was told that there was a way to bypass using the console as just a 2-channel console but to double tap shift? I am thinking some people may be misunderstood if they actually have not tried this method as I think you STILL have to have ch.3 and 4 connected with decks in order to switch from 2-channel to 4, right?

If you mean the ability to toggle the deck control using a SHIFT/SHIFT press instead of going into the shortcut menu, that's only for when controlling software... but yes, it does work with the latest firmware.
