Tracks taking long to load onto deck.

RB and DDJ 1000- 

Hi when i load a track via my DDJ 1000 it takes a good 10 seconds for the track to show up on the Jog wheel display and laptop. Is this normal? Also it freezes sometimes... 

can this be firmware related or is my laptop just garbage.
