DDJ-SB3 not working

I just got the DDJ-SB3. I downloaded serato dj lite and plugged my controller in but I couldn't get any sound from speakers or headphones. I checked all the volume knobs but nothing was working. I started to look on different forums to find a solution and while I was doing this all of the lights on the SB3 turned off. The only light that was working was the top right channel level. I don't know how to fix this and I haven't been able to find anything that helped.

This means that the SB3 is not receiving adequate power from your computer. Please try using another USB port, a different cable, a powered USB hub, or a Y cable to provide power from a second port. You could also test with another computer to verify that this is not a hardware fault on the SB3 itself.

I've tried different USB ports and different computers. I still get the same thing every time. Should I return it and get a new one?

Pulse

If you're still within the return period of your retailer, that would be the quicker option.

Anyone find the answer to this? I'm having the exact same problem

I am having the same problem and it's not a power problem we tried everything possible and nothing happened still this one light like the other customer on his or hers this is crazy and I can't return it cuz I had it to long the sad part it's not a problem on our end it's a pioneer problem smh

Pulse

@Omar > Have you tried the various fixes suggested within this and other topics on the same issue?

omar wesley

Yes I have I tried everything

Pulse

@Omar > 99% of the issues with the SB3 are from the user's computer not providing adequate power over the USB connection. I would suggest you please try using one or two other computers to see if this is the case, and if not, and you truly believe it is a hardware problem, please contact Pioneer DJ technical support in your region to have your SB3 inspected and/or serviced.
