Can't add video files to a video playlist?
I've created a new playlist under 'video playlists' but when I try and drag a video to it it won't let me. I can drag a video to a standard playlist but the track just doesn't show up. I've tried importing a video folder as a playlist but that doesn't work either. Am I doing something wrong??

There is a bug currently where you can't be within your collection and drag videos to the videos playlists; you need to be under All Videos and then drag to a video playlist.
Our engineers are working to correct this in a future update.
I've kind of got a workaround that I just noticed - if I click on all videos and drag from there it will add to the playlist. Problem is, I want all files from a specific folder to add to the playlist which in 'browse all video' mode I can't see which ones they are. I can't drag directly from the explorer tree to the playlist. If I try to import the folder as a playlist that doesn't work either.
On a separate note, can you still not combine audio and video files in one playlist?
No, mixed-media playlists are not supported due to the export nature of rekordbox; if a DJ were to have a playlist with mixed filetypes, then try and export, only the audio files can bee exported, meaning they might not realize this, and arrive at a gig with only half of their intended tracks. We are aware of the fact that not everyone is exporting and they'd like to have mixed-media playlists, but for now it's not possible.
Thanks Pulse. Has the video playlist bug been fixed in the new beta?
Allow me to answer you 3 years later: No, no update on the bug yet. And to help you with your question of folder: Browse to the folder via your OS explorer (not rekordbox), drag and drop folder onto rekordbox's video playlist section. A playlist will be created with the name of that folder you dragged n dropped
