Cue Point latency lag

Hello,  I've had several consistent successful gigs now with Rekordbox and my RZ, however I've seen on several occasions that sometimes when I set a cue point live, it seems to lag a bit.  sometimes the wave form stops completely for it to catch up, and luckily it doesn't freeze.  Has anyone else reported this?  My computer is up to specs, and my Serato program never does this.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks!
