Using 2 vinyl turntables and two cdj 2000 nxs2's with rekordbox dvs

Feeling rather stupid trying to set up my rekordbox dvs to be controlled by 2 turntables and 2 cdj's.
I can't see anything in the instructions that shows you a recommended way of doing it.
Can any of you guys help please.

Pulse

Are you looking for instructions on setting up DVS or simply on how to configure 2 players for DVS and 2 players for HID?

Marco

Hi Pulse,

could you please explain how to setup two turntables with DVS and two CDJs 2000 nxs2 with HID (mixer = 900 nxs2).

Or is this (special) case decribed in the recordbox manual?

Thanks in advance!

Dirk Fienemann

This is what I'm trying to do but I cannot work it out. Pioneer does not supply an understandable manual for this - maybe it's because I'm German and do not understand the descriptions properly but I payed so much money for the stuff and cannot use it. Pls help! 2x CDJ 2000 nx2, 1 DJM-900 NX2, 2x technics 1210 mkII. THANK YOU!

Pulse

@Dirk > Easy. Connect the CDJs and 1210's to your DJM, then in rekordbox on the DVS panel, instead of PHONO or CDJ, click the CUSTOM button and it opens the DJM setting utility. Assign the proper output channels to match your layout of CDJs and turntables,; set the output for CONTROL TONE PHONO if it's a turntable, CONTROL TONE LINE if it's a CDJ.

That's pretty much it. Where are you getting stuck?

Pulse

Or did you want to mix HID and DVS?

Dirk Fienemann

Thanks for you're support.

Yes, i want to mix HID andDVS.

For a further description I would be really grateful.

Best Regards

Dirk

Okay, so follow the steps above, and only set the two decks you want to use as DVS for REL/ABS mode, the other two should be on INT mode and those are the decks you assign on the players when in HID mode.

At which step are you getting lost?

Dirk Fienemann

It starts even earlier. Windows 10 doesn't want to accept the DJM as a soundcard. I installed the drivers several times and it does not even show up in the system. This is all so annoying...
