Anyone experience freezes when switching scenes?

Hey just wondering if anyone on ver1.3 experiences a total freeze when switching from scenes w a lot of samples or different AS-1 patches on their SP-16 machine?  

I've only experienced it in one project but it's recurring and it switches to a high pitched beeping noise and doesn't give me the confidence to use it live haha.
