djm nsx2 distortion on main out Right channel

Hi

I have a brand new DJM 900 NXS2 mixer + 2 cdj-2000 nxs2´s Under to months old.

My mixer is distorting on the right main output no matter the volume or input levels.

The setup has done two-three lounge type jobs.

Is it a software problem og defect soundcard or???

Thanx. Tommy

It's not a common defect as there are tens of thousands of these mixers in use and very few exhibit these issues. If you are experiencing an issue with the audio output, please contact Pioneer DJ technical support in your region to have your hardware inspected and/or serviced.

When you listen to the Channel cue in your headphones are you hearing the distortion?

How about when you use the Master cue, are you still able to hear the distortion?

Are you connecting the system via RCA or coaxial? Have you tried using different cables?

If you're using the DJM-NXS2 as the audio interface (connected to laptop via USB), have you tried a different USB connection?

There is no distortion in headphones not in cue or master cue

Tried using different sources usb, pc etc. same problem regardless

The mixer was build in to a flightcase with the standard connection panel. Tried going around the panel and straight in to the mixer. Same problem directly from the right master out.

From what you've told me thus far, it seems we can isolate the problem exclusively to the Master Output. Have you tried the "Rec Out" to see if you get the same result? Then we'll be able to tell if the problem is limited to the Master Output XLR or all Outputs.

When you say mixer was built into a flightcase with a standard connection panel, I'm not sure I understand. Could you post some images? That could potentially be part of the problem as well.

I've a similar problem, except it's both output, seems to be just the high end though,

Ive cued and done everything you have suggested here ..

any ideas what it could be ?

It's been happen to me 4 times!!!

I had to replace the main board of the mixer 4 times. I have 3 mixers nxs2 900.

Happened to my mixer after 2 years and 3 months (around 500-600 hours of use at that point) - right channel of main XLR output distorts.

It looks like a design or manufacturing defect. Anyone from Pioneer to comment?
