Quantize effects in DJM-2000
I have a question about quantize effects in DJM-2000. So I use Rekordbox DJ. I use DJM-2000 as soundcard and CDJ-2000s in HID as controllers for the software.
Though I have DJM firmware updated to the latest, quantize is ON, but I feel that half the time quantize does not work perfectly. For example if I use ECHO it is not always on beat. Am I missing something or where is the problem?

Unfortunately the beatgrid data is not sent to the DJM when using the mixer as your audio interface with rekordbox dj, only when you have the players linked with rekordbox in export mode.
Are you using the Rekordbox DJ software?
Also, echo may sound a tad off depending upon what part of the beat/track you "catch" when activating the effect. The best way to see if quantize if working is to use the filter effect and set it 4 beats for a generic four on the floor beat. If it performs the filtering in time with the beat, you're all good.
Does quantize work with rekordbox and DJM-900NXS2 ? What is the button on the mixer really supposed for / does it only work with CDJs ?
