Trigger Mode and Loop
I'm a drummer that will be using the Toraiz as a sample playback module controlled by midi drum pads. Along with triggering percussion samples during live performance, I will also be triggering looped backing tracks. If strike 1 on my midi drum pad starts the looped backing track, how do I stop playback short from setting up a choke group and assigning another track/midi pad as the stop function? Please don't tell me I have to push a button on the Toraiz to stop a looped playback sample. I only have two hands and both with be holding drum sticks!
It seems to me that there needs to be another option added to the trigger/loop menu. Something that allows strike 1 to play the looped sample and strike 2 to stop the looped sample. Did I miss something in the manual?
Thanks

As Cris mentioned the only way to stop a playing loop/Sample is to Hold shift and hit the pad of the track you want to stop. You can also try Muting that sample if its easier for you.
I will pass along your feature request for the trigger/loop menu.
thanks for the feedback

You can stop every track or loop by holding shift and press the track you want to stop
Thank you for listening Dj Creme. I'm sure you guys have your hands full with firmware update requests. I hope you can do something about that 32 second maximum sample playback per track issue. That is a big issue for the musician customer base. I like to trigger backing tracks for live performance.
