Reset played state suggestion

Would be interested if there is a way to reset the played state of selected songs so they are no longer highlighted.  Same as how it's done in Traktor/SeratoDJ.

How is this done in Serato DJ aside from clearing your entire played history?

Right click track then click "Reset Played-State" option.

Also, it's nice to have a last played date as well like in Traktor.  If they are thinking about doing this.

Mark Gallo

This is good stuff, guys.  Thank you.  I will pass this along to our engineering team and keep you posted with any updates.

Yeah last played date is a must for me, playing a weekly radio show its essential to see when I last played a track so I don't repeat myself.

@Kieran > For the record, you are incorrect about Serato DJ having this feature.

KB

@Mark > For the record I should have mad it clear that I was referring to Traktor. I have never used Serato. Traktor however does have this feature and is very beneficial to what I do.

KB.

@Kieran > Understood.  I agree, this feature would be great to have.  Hopefully it will be implemented.

Mark Gallo

@DJsimshady > In Serato, that clears ALL of your played tracks not an individual track.

Mark... I found the fix for this.  If I go into rekordbox history and delete tracks played previously in that session i can "reset" the played status the same way it's done in serato.

Behavior is the same as in seratoDJ so we are good and can close this!

Mark Gallo

I was actually referring to resetting the play state for INDIVIDUAL tracks as opposed to all tracks.

djphasim

well rDJ does it even better then because we can reset the play state for just an individual track then!

Ves

Bumping an old thread.

With resetting played state for the whole library implemented, I'd like to see it implemented for individual tracks like the original poster suggested.
