XDJ-1000 Touch Screen unresponsive.

This past weekend I started up my XDJ for a gig. I noticed that the touch screen was not working at all. Seems to be a hardware issue? I've only had it for 6 months and have not abused this machine at all.

Pioneer XDJ-1000 Touch Screen Unresponsive!!!!!

I bought a set of two XDJ-1000s about 3 months ago. They have never left my room. I use them to practice only. Today while I was playing, the touch screen on one of them just stopped working!!!

Please help, as I'm very dissapointed my $1000 investment it's useless after only 3 months..

@Camilo > Sorry to hear that. I'm assuming you've tried things like power-cycling the player, but have you tried performing a firmware update?

@Kevin > Sorry this topic was missed until now - same thing applies if you haven't fixed it already, but if a firmware update doesn't resolve the problem, please contact Pioneer technical support in your region to have the player serviced. As it's under warranty, the repair would be free of charge.

Same thing happened to me yesterday on a 2 month old player .. is there anything i can do/try except mentioned above?

@Ziga > Sorry, if you've tried a firmware update and it hasn't resolved the issue, you'll have to contact Pioneer DJ technical support in your region for servicing. If it's 2 months old, you'll be covered by warranty.
