Hot cues erased

Hi, I have just had a disaster with my hot cues. I have been setting these up for 300 tracks and exported the tracks to my USB. Upon doing this all the hot cues have been erased, from both Rekordbox on my laptop and the USB. They are completely gone it seems. This seems like a pretty serious issue. Has anyone encountered this? And what would you advise?
