Hi,

I just recently bought a DDJ-SB2 and tried using with Serato DJ (v 1.8.1), but it asked me to activate/buy the Serato DJ and I have 14 days trial of using the software now. Doesn't the hardware comes together with the software like any other models before this?

I had a DDJ-SX & an SZ before this and I could just use the Serato DJ with no problems at all.

That's because the DDJ-SB2 is not a licensed Serato DJ controller, it's sold with the ability to use Serato Intro. If you'd like to use Serato DJ with your SB2, you need to purchase a license for Serato DJ ... even if you already own(ed) an SX or SZ, as those controllers are capable of unlocking the full version of Serato DJ without purchasing a license.
