setting the gains
hello,
when i mix i know that i need to set the gain so it's flashing at the 0 mark.
all the tracks have a different volume, so if i want my mix allways at the same volume i need to go to the loudest part of the track and set the gain right.
My question is, is there a better to do this. Or better how do you guys do this?

Personally, I hate auto-gain, it never works properly even with advanced software that's supposed to measure it and calculate it.
@Rick > You're doing it the right way - each track you load, you find the loudest part of the song, adjust the gain, cue it and play it. It's the way DJs have been doing it for decades.
Question is... why is Rekordbox the ONLY software NOT having a gain calculation. Let the software analyse it, this can't be that hard I guess? Recordings would be so much better having it all the same gain. Because one LED on the VU more or less really "does" make a difference when played in the car. To be honest, this is by far the only thing I'm *really* missing on this fantastic controller.
