[CLOSED] Get the analysis data on new mac?
Has anyone figured this out and successfully transfer the wave data from on mac to another?
I have a new macbook, named it a different name, all my cues, colors, memory pints, star ratings show up but non of the wave data is there when i load a track. Do I really need to reanalyze every track?
I tried changing the analysis "pioneer" folder in preferences but no matter where I point it, the data still never shows when i load into the RB player

When I moved the rb data from my macbook to my imac I just followed the instructions found here on the forum http://forums.pioneerdj.com/entries/20658308-Migrating-Your-Rekordbox-Database and it worked flawlessly. The two computers had different names and even slightly different OS (10.7 on the laptop and 10.8 on the imac).
Try File > Backup on your old Mac then File > Restore on your new Mac.
The created zip file should contains all information including wave data.
I tried the backup and restore, worked perfect on my other mac with a different name. They must have improved that because a while back I don't remember that restore being that good, I have used in a while
Julia, I did try your method but the naming of the users ""/username/bchiaino/" had to be the exact same name which it was not so all the cues came over but not the waves. But when you do a back and restore RB changes the info in the datafile.edb from /users/bchiaino to users/newname and the waveforms now work
thank you guys for the info!
