Hi, I am tempted to buy a Pioneer DDJ-SX

To use the DDJ-SX, two people will have to run off one mac pro while each using a separate hard drive. but there is an insufficient amount of USB port's on the mac.

I was wondering weather the mac would be stable running two external hard drive off a powered USB multiplier whilst running Serato DJ with the DDJ-SX?

Absolutely! I would suggest using a powered USB hub for the two hard drives and connecting the SX directly to the computer.
