update collection working even though synced playlists says it won't work

I am a little confused, maybe others can test his or Pioneer can confirm my findings

When I choose to "synchronize" all my playlists including cues, it warns you that you can no longer sync cues made from the usb drive back to rb after a gig. Whats weird though is I can, I set a a few hot cues live last night, today I synced the drive to save the history, right clicked on the 4 tracks I saved hot cues on and "updated collection" on those 4 tracks, the cues transferred perfectly

so is it only that you cannot do a mass "Update collection" by right clicking on the drive and having it do everything but you CAN update individual tracks?
