[SOLVED] Good Ethernet Switch?
Having to lower my standards and use a DJM 900 rather than my 2000 this weekend! :(
Can someone recommend a decent ethernet switch to purchase so I can link in my CDJ 2000.
I did search and found a few old threads but wanted to make sure I got up to date opinions.
Thanks all.

go with the Netgear or Cisco/Linksys models, they are really good
Cheers BriChi opted for a Netgear GS105
Netgear GS105 (5 ports) and GS108 (8 ports) are a very good choice. Very good quality and reliability.
I use them for some time and I'm really pleased
I also recommend
+1
Netgear has all the awards from all the top DJ tour managers down to the light & video engineers.
Even though Netgear are the best- I have an old (2006 version) D-link DES 1005D that still works perfectly at home CDJ/DJM/Rekordbox set-up
For the road take a 2011 version of the DES 1008D
Also tested a TPLink & Edimax 8 port hub all worked perfectly with no headaches... usually the more discreet the lights are the better for a dark club/afterhours setup- don't want that green strobe light messing with your eyes
Best way to test? Load a .wav or .aif track on all 2 or more CDJs and needle search on both at the same time... only one really old network hub failed, but the rest never have :D
I actually just put a wireless Cisco router dual band into my system, I wire everything up via ethernet and it's also wireless in case I grab a song from my phone, I can connect it wirelessly quick to play that one track
Officially, Pioneer recommends D-Link, Netgear and Allied Telesis.
Personally, I recommend the Netgear GS108 (or 105).
