Cdj 2000 nexus jog wheel stop in vynil mode

Hi everyone ,
I got an issue with one of my nexus. When I go on vynil mode the song stop playing you can scratch but when you release the jog wheel it stop immediately it he song . Can someone help me ?

under the platter there is a sensor that activates the scratch mode. Yours need replacing. It's not that big a deal and should not cost you a lot.

In the future, after you repair it (and I am not suggesting you do this), do not put anything on top of the platter; including your headphones.

it could just be worn out springs too so there is not enough "spring" left to keep the platter off the sensors

Hi brichi,

I try the spring tricks but with no success. A friend has suggest me to change the slipmat and the sensor too he has got the same problem with his CDJ 900, he thinks it is the same problem.

hi guys i know it's been a long time. I was using the SZ since i got problem with my 2000 nexus. So a friend bring the parts that we thought were faulty the encoder plate parts number DEC 2889. So i changed it but it was not that. So i try the spring tricks and change the encoder plate i don't know now. Can someone help me ?
