[SOLVED] DJM 2000 mk1 power cable (UK)

Hi,

I'm trying to find a replacement power cable for my DJM 2000 after my one seemingly disappeared. I initially thought it was just a standard kettle style lead but the connection only appears to have 2 flat pins and I'm unfamiliar with it. Please could somebody advise what type of cable I require? I've attached a photo of the back of my mixer so you can see exactly what I mean.

They use a standard IEC mains cable, commonly known as a 'Kettle lead' in the UK, the mixer only has two pins (live and neutral) as it doesn't require a wired earth as it double insulated (the box inside a box logo somewhere on the unit).

You can quite safely and happily use an IEC cable with 3-pins. The earth pin simply will not be connected to the mixer.

As @djman86 has pointed out, you can use the standard kettle lead just fine - they are exactly the same, only difference being the mixer lacks the earth rod as the unit is already insulated.

You can buy one here if you wish: http://goo.gl/TngufW
